V.I.C. is the abbreviation for of Vampire International Chronicles. The V.I.C. is a loose union of several Vampire-Live groups. Our aim is to promote interaction between those groups without being condescendive or restrictive. Other than being a part of a group it is possible to implement older characters or those without a group.
Creed
The following are our principles:
- Various opportunities, few responsibilities: The main target of the V.I.C. is about staying in contact and propose the opportunity to exchange and play with each other. Of course the groups are able to interact more with each other and create a more detailled reality to play in and to match their facts. But none of this is a duty. Each playgroup decides for itself, in how far they want to interact with others.
- Creative range: In order to preserve a leeway as big as possible for gamemasters/storytellers and playgroups we are only defining a few and rough basics. It is very important for us to leave as much free space as possible. The purpose of those basics is to provide a solid base frame for mutual plaing. Filling this frame is what each playgroup is able to do on its own.
- The principle of tolerance: Each playgroup is different. Concernig their style of play, their in-play reality and the composition of their community. Despite those differences we all act on the same level. We avoid categorisations like good or bad. There are only groups that have a different style. No groups that play worse or better than others.
Collective In-Game Reality
As stated in the principles we minimized the definition of our in-game reality. We are consistant is some important events, whereas the rest is left to define by the playgroups themselves.
- Justicar Xavier laid down his office and left the Camarilla. Many Gangrels around the world followed him. In the conclave of 2014 the princes have been recommended to treat clan Gangrel as a full-value Camarilla-clan.
- The antedeluvian of clan Ravnos, Zapathasura, has not yet woken up and the Week Of Nightmares has not yet happend.
- The separation of the Assamites has not yet happened and the Assamites are still completely independent. This principle is optional. Should it not apply, it will be communicated.
